Nothing special though. A 1000W might have a fan, but you are no where near pushing the limits so it will never spin up.

This 700W fanless will probably be a 700W sold at a premium, which means I would rather bump a little extra cash for a comfortable 1000W or more.

Aye, I understand that but one thing I forgot to mention is that I'm going ITX with my next system so even though it can fit an ATX PSU, I'm heavily limited on the depth of it, and I know some 1kW units can be quite chunky haha.

yeah ITX is where it can be useful where size matters.

Would have LOVED one if it was SFX, would have instantly bought one. HATE the corsair PSU. Fan is loudest thing in my system.
