I might be looking to sell my Shuttle AN50R MB + AMD 64 3400 and replace with the some new bits

Whats a good choice MB 939 and value for money chip 3800 or FX?????

Dunno about board but get the new 939 3200+ 90nm chip as it performs aswell as an FX at a saving of around £400

Fatty.. will be interested to see what results you get. Are you using HS+Fan or MK2????

I have to say I'm very tempted to get one myself now . Probably not good as I just got this 3.4EE but the results of it @ 2.5Ghz are just amazing, beats the 939 FX53 in most cases. Be interesting to see how the FX53/55 in 90nm are gonna perform .

At that price tho you can't really go wrong!!

I might buy one after I heard the results from fatty. Which is the first fx chip to be 90nm? is it the 57?

EDIT: one thing I've just realised, I assume they are multi locked?

at the mo I have a 64 3400. I am tempted to get the 3200 90nm if it has good results...

As you can see this is the best I got with my 3400 - AMD 64 3400 @ 228x11 = 2508Mhz

If the 3200 90nm does better then I will sell up, but I will be running on HS+F so would also like to know if its worth it..

Again any advise would be great.
