On another forum I'm a regular at there have been major debates over these, and the general concensus seems to have worked out that they:

A) Are quiet

B) Push no more than 60cfm or so

C) Are very expensive

Because I had a conversation with Marci and after a bit of maths I should have 100cfm fans on my pa120.3 for optimum performance...

Anyway, got 3 SilenX IPX-74-14's... ST have the specs in wrong! 74cfm @ 14db after our very own XMS gave the nod on them

Looking forward so having a quiet PC again, anyone need some 140cfm fans???

PA series rads require high RPM fans to perform at peak peak. I'd look at nothing less than a solid 90cfm, preferably 100-120 to get the most out of it.

I know mate but my ears want a break! The fans are quiet with the controller during the day and evening, but at night when you want to just chill and watcha film or something and it's quiet, they seem too loud!

I'm removing my gfx card from the loop now so thats less heat to dissipate, so hopefully 74cfm should be sweet

8800GT fan is quiet. Plus I'm subject to change my mind as I have the mcw60 & sinks just sat here which will fit the gt.

The gt is a short term solution and i cba messing with the loop when i change the card...
