Hey guys,

Im looking at getting a waterblock for the old 8800gtx.

It is a OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB.

So, i need to know if this is a reference design board or not.

Also, could anyone recommend a block???

Cheers guys.

You could buy the Dtek Gpu waterblock -

With the Dtek Unisink -

Which looks similar to this when built -

Or a full coverage block like this -

Those are really the only 2 competitors on the market, unless i want to go for those siberian blocks and then get some ram sinks.

Im bidding on an EK full cover block at the minute.

So we shall see how that pans out, if not, then its time to start looking around again.

Cheers

You can use the ''unisink'' heatsink with a swiftech ''mcw 60'' block with a very slight mod.

The swifty block is far less restrictive block than the D-tek and a better performer , probably the best out there imo.

oh, did i forget to correct this thread? oops, ive got a full cover block coming from wcuk as i managed to get my order in on fri and 3am. XD

Missed the first delivery, but got my bro sleeping on the sofa by the front door waiting for it now, Shall be setting it all up asap, should be nice.

Sometimes you just have to beat your bro's up to get them to do stuff for ya :-) .

Im always beating mine up :-(.

rofl, if i hit my brother i would snap him in two, theres nothing to him.

Therefore, i just pay him, or threaten to take back computer parts which he has in his computer. ;)
