Just gona get one anyway!

Oh and i have Physx! :D

only a 320. id expect £65ish atm for that so nice surprise. Now if it had been the g92 chips...for that price....Fark me backwards

Wow, that a bloody awesome price!!

I've been dawdling on a new GPU for a bit, but expecting to pay about £100 for a nice 8 series, so I might actually get this :D

Good spot Lynx - repples 4 u

Damn I was goin to order this one too. I did think I left it too long, but didn't realise it was taken off on the same day!!!

Anyone else seen any bargains on the 8 or 9 series for £50-£100 ??

Ebuyer sometimes have a great one time card on the site. And ofc u can look at Scan's Today section - they often try and get rid of things on that.

The thing is I'm not online that often anymore and can't keep a regular lookout on them...

Having a quick scan around now and I seem completely clueless about the current graphics cards. I'm guessing there isn't much difference between the 8 and 9 series?

Also, am I correct in thinking that Ati is where it's at atm?

Seen THIS ONE, but will it be a lot better than my 7800GT?

I wouldn't bother getting that over your 7800GT.

Here's your best bet mate.

Palit 9800GT - £83.41

Although, at that price, I cant help but think its too cheap to be true. Have a quick fiddle around the interwebs and see if you can stumble across any reviews for this specific model. If you end up buying it, it should offer a brilliant improvement over your 7800GT.

Just to keep you up to date, the 9800GT is the 55nm version of the 8800GT, they're not too different performance wise but evidently, the 9800GT will give off less heat.

Best of luck mate. :)

about 6 weeks back on pc-worlds web site there were selling the,

pny 8800gts 640Meg pci-e for just 57-pounds but there out of stock now,

of that card.

Sorry forgot to post back. Appreciate your help above mate :)

That ones gone up a bit now, just wondering about This one

Also, if I spend that extra £20 will THIS ONE be worth it?

The 2nd 9800gtx+ is a far better card than the 1st one (9800gt) . the 9800gt is just a rebadged 8800gt, so look for a cheaper 88gt if you want to buy that card but the 9800gtx+ for the extra cash is worth every penny imo.

Nice spot jiffz!

The 9800gtx would be a nice addition to my upgrade, ill def look into raising another 100 for the funds =]

Reppies for you too!
