800d build

So i have this rig up on the rig gallery and a lot of people were giving me some good advice on how to improve on it so i have now ordered some white custom braided exstention cables and a NZXT led light strip to start with.

I do have plans on water cooling in the near future (just need to save some money for it) I have a few pieces for the water cooling, i have a pump two res's, one is a nice small neat one and the other is a 240mm Frozwn Q T-Virus res. only problem is the colors i am going with this build is black and white and the T-Virus res has red coils in it :(. i have a few fittings and a cpu block so basically all i am missing is tubing and rad.

I am still waiting on the exstention cables to arrive but the nylon for lacing the cables came yesterday so i gave it a go to lace a spare cable i have laying about to see how hard it would be, and for a bit of practice for when i am doing it on the white ones.

Specs.

Corsair 800D
AMD FX 6-core Black Edition FX-6100
Gigabyte Socket am3+ GA-990FXA-UD3
Sapphire Radeon HD 6870
8gb gskill 1333mhz Ripjawx series
Antec Kuhler box CPU cooler
Samsung 830 series 64gb ssd
WD 2tb 5400rpm

hear are some pics of the rig as it is and the lacing i did on the spare cable (and be kind the lacing is my first time doing it).

this is the only one i am not really happy about how it turned out. anyone got any advice on how to improve the front panel cable, taking into account that is all seperit wires and not just one so i dont think i could lace it. also i hate seeing cable ties out the front of a case so they are out the window.

Damn those cables look so tidy with the cable lacing! Makes me want to get some braided cables, just wish I had the money. :(

yea i was saying the same thing for the past few months till i found a shop onn eBay that takes custom orders. i got all of them for €40.

if there isnt the color or cable you want that isnt there just email him and he does it to your custom order.

i wanted all white with no heatshrink and he did them all for me(apart from the front panel cable, cant do them without heatshrink) he is very good and the stuff is really good quality.

So I braided the front panel exstention cable, i think it looks much better now.

I also got a sleeving kit and gave it a go at doing it myself. i did the fan header beside the 24pin and two down either side of the front panle header, also did the audio header but the sleeving that came with the kit was not as tight as the one used on my exstention cables so you can really tell the difference.

I also have a few pics of what way i want the water cooling to be set up when I can finally afford it :)

So to explain, there will be a 360mm rad in the top. i will need to get one that has fitting both ends.

Starting from top left - out of rad to CPU, then down from CPU to res, res down to pump and pump back up to rad.

I will need to get a few more compression fittings and some 45's, also one that clamps on through the hole from res to pump(not sure what they are called) and another 90 for pump back up to rad.

I live on a very tight budget at home and this may be a fare ways way from happening but I can still plan :)
