I'd say if your not watercooling MSI, Gigabyte and Sapphire are all very good (especially the MSI Twin Frozr 3 cooler)

Also the XFX black is good and comes factory overclocked if you aren't into doing it yourself.

From what i've heard the XFX cards are quite hot and noisy compared to others. My XFX 6850 is really loud, but the temps are ok-ish.

yeah i heard the xfx cards are loud i will go with the gigabyte since that has 3 fans and they say its better than the msi 1 in terms of silence.. i can overclock myself

Well I was going by TTls review, he doesn't say it's actually loud even when OC. I haven't got an opinion on the coolers either way - just adding an option if you haven't considered it, which you have

If I was to choose one I'd probably go with the sapphire.

I have one...it is really really quiet in comparison to some other cards.

well i had a change of plans now.. i will buy the sapphire 7870 GHZ edition since i see it is finally out!!! YAY will be much better for me and save me a $150usd
