6970 price increase ?

has the 6970 increased in price in the uk ? , yesterday morning i was looking at the below which was £277.99 . then last night it was £279.99 but now it is £284.98 , when did this come in and this is before the vat rise

also noticed in their forums people moaning about the gtx570 going up as well , when did these increase come in to effect ?

The possible answer is from vat increase added earlier to because they can.

If it bugs you mate call overclockers and request an old price on that GPU

lol but would that not be against the law increasing vat before the increase ? , i did ask about the price before it went up and no price inrease was on the cards i was told then the price went up . no other place has done this yet as far as i can tell

I remember when Alien got his Patriot SSD for some 64.99 or so and made a post about how that cheap SSD drive perform brilliantly. Day before price went up to like 89.99 lol.

You never know, they probably read these forums hehe. On another note....just get 570
