6950 maximum clock > how to unlock?

So I have run through Heaven with my 6950 at the maximum slider values (in Afterburner) of 840Mhz/ 1325Mhz and haven't had a problem at all

But now when I key in 850Mhz for the core clock it changes it back to 840Mhz (as far as the slider allows). If possible, how do I override this? I have a feeling I might have to unlock voltage control to gain access to high speeds but I don't want to unlock it if the 840Mhz cap is still there - FTR I have ran unigine with 840Mhz and then 850Mhz which set itself to 840Mhz and there is no difference in scores so it definately isn't letting me past the default cap. In the 6950 review on here it was cranked up to 850Mhz, how was that acheived?

I used RacerX to unlock the max speed on my Sapphire HD 6950 2GB. Here is the link to the forumpost on techPowerUp!.RacerX

My card has been stable for about 2 days now on 910 Core,1400 Mem, 1274mV.
