Hi
I bought what I though was a faulty eBay XFX 5870 and it had a 5870, basically i ended up giving it a blast of a heat gun, re-flashed the BIOS to a 850/1200 XFX 5870.
After using Knombuster and GPUZ to my dismay it was actually a 5830.
Oh and got it for €40 posted not too bad of a deal all things said(still wish it was a 5870).
Just wondering did anyone else do this to their 5830, it seems to be running A1 on this BIOS I tried a 900/1250 but it runs a bit hotter and i find it runs peachy on 850/1200!
