unless your playing something like flight sim x on multiple HUGE monitors i cant realy see the need for 4 gig (8 if you sli), as for performance it could possably destroy the 295 at larger res but smaller ones id say there would only be a few frames in it, cant wait for a review.
IF there is a huge performance boost (more than 2x 285's) looks like ima need another huge increse onto my next pc funds=[ *thinks what he could sell, mabey a kidney?*

Tested 3x workstaion quadros on tuesday, they just looked like 8800GT tbh.

Theoretically, some of the bad-arse oc people should be receiving samples of these (well should have already by now).
I'm sure one of the famous people has an ASUS sponser, and the fact that this is 2x 285 under one bonnet compared to a regular 295 (which is weird why they never changed the name to 297 or summit), it 'should' be the single most fasted card out there.
Why wouldn't they be eager for the oc champs to get their names up there ? I'll have a dig around.
Same thing goes with this card tho, whatever is under the bonnet, it's a 4g card... 2g would be outrageous. So it's gotta be an example of bolting whatever u can to the pcb, make a limited amout and charge a dumbass price for it. I can guarantee sales.
With some oc history to back it up - there would be more sales. Some people just have the cash.

as for the price 750-800 would be more reasonable, as its the only card that does it so you would expect a bit of a premium ontop of the price of 2x 285's
