They should have filled up the spare ram slots as well, then it would have been a full system.

ASUS also has a quad PCI-e x16 motherboard:

With the ATI 19xx cards being two slots wide, or if a water block is used, it is doubtful that one can utilize two of the four slots. Shame, I would have added a third ATI card (1600 pro for physics - no crossfire cable required!) and replaced the PCI-X SCSI RAID controller with a newer PCI-E version.
