This tutorial from 3M was quite useful to me in my self education reference LCD monitors..

I could not get through the whole thing in one session. there is however a bookmark feature. there are clickable sub menus on each slide..I did not realize that the first time I went thru this slide show

..anyhow I thought some others here might find it useful/interesting.

It really is quite well done.

Browse through some of the products 3M makes for the monitor market while you are at it....the durable quick clean matte(markets we serve/display aftermarket) for scratched monitors seems like a winner

I'm afraid you've lost me friend..can you be less cryptic...The "they" you refer to is 3M I assume..not sure what a primary school is..but it would seem unlikely that 3M would be making anything at a school..and I have no idea what an OHP is.

Overhead Projectors/OHPs

Yeah I was referring to 3M, they were a big name for OHPs.

Primary School in the UK is education for Years 3-6 (7-11 year olds)

I understand now..3M made the OHP used at your primary school..sometimes I can be a bit to literal ..I did not realize they made hardware ...I always tend to think of them as the masking tape and glue people

God that jogged my memory ....I remember now that 3M did have a hardware link thru Wollensak .one of the companies they hoovered up...they made reel to reels ,cassettes players. It would appear they not only wanted to make the chemicals used on audio tap but the tape and the machine it played on as well..this must have been before the anti-trust laws and such that broke up many of the big companies.
