Hey everyone I am trying to overclock my 3930k and I would like some feedback for my settings as the last processor I overclocked is 5 years old and I would like confirmation my settings are ok,
Before I start here is a my rigs spec

[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Graphics: Nvidia Gtx 680[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Ram: 16gb Corsair Vengence ddr3 1600mhz[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Boot drive: 120gb Corsair force gt ssd[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]HDD: 2tb Seagate barracuda [/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Powersupply: 700w Corsair gamer series[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Optical: LG dvd drive[/font]

[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Right down to business. The last time I overclocked my Q6600 there wasn't half the stuff in the bios as there is now with the sabertooth so I did some research to and I would like you to confirm if these settings are ok for my overclock[/font]

[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]cpu clock gen filter -enabled[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]mem freq 1600mhz[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]epu power saving -disabled[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]dram time -9-9-9-24[/font]
[font=verdana, geneva, lucida,]Digi + power control -high[/font]
cpu performance ratio -46
intel speedstep -disabled
cpu vcore voltage -1.34
cpu vccsa -default
dram voltage -1.5
cpu pll volt -default
vttcpu volt -1.34
After 2 hours of intel burn test the overclock seems stable and temps are as follows
Mid 60's with the H100 fans set to high with the hottest core hitting 68
High 60's with the H100 fans set to med with the hottest averaging 70 and hitting 73 for a split second
So are these settings ok for this overclock and if not can you please say what and why so I can learn more about this.
