here's a nice pointless thread. i just paid off my xbox 360, quake4, morrowind oblivion, and project gotham 3 today and now im just gonna start working towards my projector and screen and my second to last remodel of my room by making it "Sethen's Gaming Den", I even want a plaque to place over my door :). Or perhaps above/below the projection screen... anyways... i would like a show of hands... who will be rocking out with me by 1 or 2 am on november 22nd, i hope all of you preorder guys picked shops with midnight releases :)...
 
i say nay nay... ps3 owns nothing till it proves itself... power isnt everything... i would like to see the game lineup.. ShittyOleEntertainment has been better with the selection so far but not anymore... also the selection shows that xbox and playstation clearly shoot for a slightly different audience... men and women perhaps, respectively :) .. honestly.. xbox is the hd gamers choice so far.... and though the ps3 will go HD... i dont know how much...
 
PS3 all the way I say, but I wanna see what Nintendo has in store with the Revolution. I've heard the controller is basically like a remote control for a TV :D
 
your clearly idiots.... ps3 will offer no unified online gaming platform... it also has half the usable ram as the 360... it has a processor that has a fraction of the relevant processing power... and its gonna cost more because they are gonna implement the uber expensive blu-ray and the useless 1080p support... see xbox360 gives you what you need... and options for upgrades in the future if the market permits... but they dont just lump a bunch of useless unnecessary price-raising shit into the console... and they actually thought about how to build the 360 to best do what was needed... sony just said yay daddy i want it to be expensive... i dont care if its logical...

Don't think so, but I do agree that the XBOX360 IMO will pwn the Sony, XBOX have way mucho moola to throw into their projects, and considering the hardware and capabilities in the 360, the system is actaully really cheap... we haven't seen any ingame play yet of PS3 games, just pre-rendered vids..... I reckon the PS3 will be alright, but Im an XBOX fan, and sony will probably fuck shit up anyway - and the unified pipes are gonna rock on the 360, the PS3 may have more processing power, but its about utilizing what they have, and the unified pipes will pwn, as they are way more efficient than the PS3's GPU....... I know that the PS3 GPU is Nvidia and I love 'em, but unified is the way to go :)

You're a bit of a fanboy aren't you. Have you ever actually played x-box? Or do you just assume it sucks because it isn't a playstation. To tell you the truth I tend to be an x-box fanboy but at the very least you can't say it sucks if it was atleast on par with if not better then the PS2. It had less games but most of the games it didn't have were shitty games anyway. The system was great and it was home to the game of the year. Halo 2 and actually I think Halo: Combat Evolved also won a game of the year. Sorry but it is just absolutely retarded to say that X-Box sucks. If you speak of the 360 I KNOW you don't own one and it would be wise of you to actually get one before talking shit about it. Actually, on that note I'm sure you don't own an x-box otherwise you would not be so biased to beleive that it so called 'sux' (may also want to learn to spell). Now next time before you come up with some half-assed opinion i recommend that you pull your head out of your ass and back yourself up. Not post an immature attempt at looking like you know what you are talking about. Nice try. Better luck next time.

EDIT: Oh yes and as for the 'Nuff said' part. Not only did you spell enough wrong but you failed to have any punctuation. I would understand some slight mispelling and such bout out of 4 words you spelled two correctly. Frankly, that is just sad. Oh yes and out of two sentences you missed one punctuation. 50% on both.

but yea it must suck... i mean people are getting mauled for the cheap version of it... some people are getting robbed at gunpoint... there was even a guy who got stabbed for one... yea he was stabbed by a guy who must not have wanted the system.. i mean why would you steal something you want..that would be silly. and why would something no one wants be selling for so much on ebay... hmmm... funny world i suppose

I think the XBox 360 will be great, but I feel the XBox could have been so much more. I mean, they had all this processing power and the capacity for incredible graphics to play with, and then instead of taking advantage of this they release all the same games as the PS2.

If the XBox 360 has unique games and actually USES all this power I might buy it. But then again I'm a PS2 fanboy ;)
