3 Displays on 3770K

Hey people.

I have 3 Iiyama Prolite E2473HDS
(each having 2 x HDMI Out, 1 DVI out and 1 VGA out)

I am trying to run the 3 off my 3770K on a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB WIFI
(Which has 1 x VGA out 1 x HDMI out 1 X DVI Out and 1x Display port out)

I have bought an active display port adaptor (dvi) and i can get all 3 screens working independently or display port with vga or display port with hdmi or hdmi with play port etc u get the idea

but i cannot get all three working i have tried all different combos ensuring that i am using the display port....

Any suggestions? Do i need to use a certain programme rather then doing it via the screen resolution panel?

have you extended the desktop?

I will say I find it very strange you have 3 screens and dont use a dedicated GPU though. (vga can not be used for 3 screens either)

This is what i currently have - with only 1 (HDMI) and 3 (DVI TO display port) working the dvi will not show?

when i use print screen it seems to out put the middle monitor with a dodgey res

however when i try to increase the resolution it tells me it cannot as that is the highest it can go?

Try clicking detect displays on the screen res control panel - i had the same problem at work when using 2 displays on the gfx card, it was showing 3 ??? lol good luck anyway

I click detect and then have the following options:
Try to connect anyway on VGA
Try to connect anyway on Mobile PC Display
Try to connect anyway on VGA

It really does repeat VGA twice despite me using, HDMI, DP and DVI

I can still select one of the 3 monitors but nothing comes up.

i would just pick up a dedicated gpu on the cheap and use that. would probably be far easier to set up

Have you installed all the latest drivers for your board?

It may be because you are mixing the HDMI with DVI. I was using 2 screens on one of my old systems with 1 HDMI and 1 DVI. It would run both screens but one of them always had this horrible flickering green lines. Changed it to run off DVI only and it stopped. Maybe try using 3 DVI if you have something on hand already to do it?

Maybe HD4000 just doesn't support 3 screens?

I have the same processor, and triple screens running off a 670. When I have some spare time, I'll swap everything to onboard and see if I get the same problems. Given the issues triple screens pose to proper graphics cards anyway - I'd imagine trying for onboard would give even more issues...

I just remember that was part of the hype regarding ivy bridge. particularly from linus tech tips. I gave up in the end and just ordered a OC Sapphire 2GB HD7850
