How well is the 3.2 Extreme Edition overclock?

Someone own one pls post your result and your cooling.

thanks

Edit: the reason I ask is:

I already have a 3.2e overclock @4.15ghz, but a friend wanted to sell me his retail 3.2ee unopened box for 50% off

Should I get it?

Will it O/C as well as my Pressy?

Will it outperform my Pressy?

Will I see any difference when I play games and everyday uses?

Hi there,

If its a fairly new stepping EE it will clock as well as the prescott. I got my 3.2EE to 4.3ghz into windows and 4.2 stable under a Mach II GT.

Due to the 2mb cache it will outperform the prescott in all benchmarks and day to day.

I'd think it'll 'pwn' (is that the right phrase the cool kids use?) the pressie at considerably lower clock speeds. Aren't prescotts really inefficient? I'm not an intel man so don't actually know what I'm going on about here. Think I'll just stop talking now...

I tested a 3.2ee last night,it managed benchies at 257 fsb(4.1ghz) on a GT.I reckon you'd need your pressy at about 4.5 to match it in performance (just a rough guess).I dont have prescott, but the 3.2ee outperformed a 3.4c at 4.4(261fsb) and a 3.4ee at 4.1(242fsb).I would buy it,you can always sell it on,maybe turn a profit on it too.
