2600K vcore under full load exceeds the voltage I set

Hi Guys,

Sorry for a noob question. I am running my i7-2600K under 100 X 47 (4.7Ghz) with manual voltage (not offset) set at 1.385v. However under full load using Prime95, the voltage shown in OCCT and CPU-Z was 1.40v.

I heard of vdroop could drop the voltage but what could have caused the increase?

Im using ASUS P8Z77V-Pro, Kingston 1333 Ram 8GB, MSI 560ti Hawk.

Im confused...

It's just something that happens. My overclock for example is 1.33volts idle and 1.32 load with it set at 1.32 in the bios. you just gotta play with vdroop, vdrop and LLC till you get as close to what you set in the bios. then you know what to set these options to and work from there
