2.6ghz Dual Core Opterons Coming Soon!

That's right, :amd: is rolling out it's new DC Opty's in the beginning of March. March 7th we'll see 2.6ghz Dual Core Opty's on the shelf in the following flavors: 185, 285 and 885 series.

The Opty 185 will be exactly identicle to the FX-60 spec wise (2.6GHz per core, 2x1MB L2 cache, 90nm SOI process) but will sell for somewhere in the $900 range (a tad less than the FX-60). So that's great news!

Now, I just want everyone to sit and imagine a quad Opty 885 rig. :drool: Hey! Zip up those pants and stop touching urself, I saw that!!

I've shipped a LOT of stuff to the UK for various peeps because it ends up being quite a bit less even after shipping. CPU's, RAM, HD's... all super cheap to ship in and I have a sure-fire way to get it in under the customs duty radar
