2 + 2 = 4 6800Ultra's on one board?

There's some crazy shizzaggle going on at this years Computex this year, with loads of news of multi-GPU rendoring.

Bit-tech have just posted a very interesting pic of a board that has 2 x 512mb 6800Ultra's on one PCB AND (most importantly) an SLi bridge still intact!!

This could lead the way for AFR (Alternate Frame rendoring) for the GPU's. Instead of alternate rendoring of two GPU's, how about each GPU rendoring one frame in 4?

Its a bit mind-boggling to be honest, but the prospect is quite amazing! :worship:

Pic (thanks Bit-Tech , you rule)

Bit-Tech have a full article! :D

And this makes me glad I just picked up an SLi board :D :D :D :D

I bet that card costs a bloody fucking fortune!

Agreed.

It would be great if PCI was totally replaced with PCI-E and you could daisy-chain a load of PCI-E sli cards together :D
