Skyrim's getting a new Anniversary Edition this year on PC, Xbox and PlayStation

Existing owners of Skyrim Special Edition will be able to upgrade their copies of Skyrim to Skyrim Anniversary Edition at a discounted price.

That's some BS from Bethesda right there.

Yeah, there's no excuse for this. CDPR will release their next-gen update for The Witcher 3 + TV show inspired DLC items for free to all previous owners.

In fact, CDPR should just announce the release for November 10th just as a fu*k you to Bethesda for trying to sell Skyrim again.

The only way I can see me buying this is if it's less than a fiver to upgrade and it natively supports ultrawide resolutions. I enjoyed Skyrim, but haven't played it in years as I couldn't all the UI mods I wanted working alongside the ultrawide support ones.

Talk about flogging a dead horse
This how they get you to pay for mods, failed last time they tried
I hope someone at Microsoft takes Bethesda by the reins, Todd Howard needs to find a real job, not just selling the same game over and over for a decade.
