Intel expects to launch 7nm Meteor Lake processors in 2023

I don't think Meteor is an ideal branding when their market share has come crashing down in consumer space.


Edit: Especially when Intel are dinosaurs of the industry.

Well going by Intels thinking, they will be glue'ing these together :)

Lets be honest by the time Intel get a meaningful nm they might well be on the same node as AMD at tsmc and AMD are not going to be slowing down anytime soon.

I'd expect AMD to be on 5nm before 2023 and maybe by 2023-25 thinking about 3nm same as Intel might well be doing.
