How to use Crysis Remastered's Build-in benchmarking tools

Just bought this. It was £27.99 on Epic store. Went to checkout and got a tenner off ! what a touch. Very happy about that, will melt my 2080ti with it next week :D

Saweeeeeeeet! Got this the other day. Looking to give that benchmark a run for sure!!

Getting 30+fps at very high settings 5120x1440! 2080ti....

Maybe have to give it a go on my smaller system at 1080! 5700XT..

anyone not seeing much RTX going on though? water looks nice, but the campfires seems non exist for RTX

No, but that is a compliment if that makes sense.

IE It looks totally gorgeous, so I don't care if it's traced or not.

I'm still most impressed with the sound though. God what a difference !

That's because Crytek is using a form of Software Ray Tracing. It's very preference efficient, but the impact isn't as large. It's designed for non-RTX hardware.

Crytek has bolted some Vulkan extensions onto the DirectX 11 game to give some RTX acceleration, but it wasn't really designed with that level of ray tracing performance in mind.

That explains it then. Thanks!

Time to give my 970's a good battering, installing now they are going to scream in pain but i don't care :D

I guess lower settings are going to be the only thing they can manage until a new card :(

Update:
970 SLI can it run crysis settings! No No No it can't but amazingly 14fps solid, lol it sure looked pretty thou no idea how it was even able to muster that :D

Even low settings look decent but i won't play it like that, look forward to a new card now even more :)
