ASUS Teases Custom ROG Keyboard Switches

and why ASUS plans to use them over Cherry's existing MX offerings.

I think we all know why, Much cheaper to produce, When a company like Asus or Razer comes out with their own switches it's for 1 thing and 1 thing only, Increased profit margins.

If they keep ASUS quality I don't mind. But if they follow Corsair... Then it is bad.

Edit: The only thing that worries me is that ASUS is phasing out ROG products for much lesser qualiy STRIX ones.

They won't phase out proper ROG. So long as people pay for it, they will make it.
