Nvidia surpasses Intel market cap to become the US' most valuable chipmaker

This is largely due to the fact they are incredibly over valued and people are buying their stocks past almost year now at over priced targets. I've read countless articles in the past year about how they are being overvalued by traders.

If it went back to more sensible levels they would definitely fall behind Intel. Though their upside is far higher.

Nvidia is actually still being investigated by the SEC over this over inflation. I believe there isn't such a strong case against them though sadly.

Ah I believe this was because of misreporting revenue? Not sure that might have been a class action lawsuit from investors not the SEC.

Either way they are overvalued right now.

Class action is ongoing also as Nvidia intentionally hid GPU mining sales inside consumer sales.

The over inflation investigation began 2 years ago i think. Back when the bitcoin boom was in flow.
