RV630, Radeon HD 2600 Comes As AGP

ATI the patron saint of AGP users the world over are continuing to support the AGP market into DX10 territory.

This looks like an attempt to steal a niche.

U got AGP and want DX10 - this would be it, basically.

I`m slightly supprised no G8xxx agp variants haven`t crawled out of the 3rd party stalls.

There are still some very entertaining 939 agp boards existing out there, don`t know about Intel ones - or probably importantly what the new mobo market is like. I bet u can find a new 939 agp if u want 1.

EDIT: What were we reading in AMD news about them pushing a new processor on a 939 socket... make the mobo, agp it, make it extra-special in some fashion.. and if u want it u HAVE to buy an ATi agp.. VV clever in one way.
