AMD's Radeon RDNA 2 graphics architecture will reportedly be revealed at CES 2020

Another feature I think we could see is Variable Rate Shading, with AMDs patents on their implementation being filed a little before their RT acceleration patents.

I'm never going to give 2 s about RT, as long as it requires a significant performance hit to run. 5-10% performance hit, then I will consider it.

What we really want is a real high end card fro AMD

RX 5700 XT for £250-300 and RX 5800 XT for £425, performance a notch higher than 2080 Super, in 2020 and they would sell really well. Raytracing is BS as it is right now.

I thought there was going to be another RDNA1 GPU released before RDNA2? And it was supposed to compete with the RTX 2080 Super.

Can't believe it's almost a year since CES, and another one is around the corner. Looking forward to it.

There's a high end GPU taping out now for release H1 2020, whether it's AMD or NVidia is unknown atm(At least to me) but it'd make sense if that was RDNA2's debut I think (I mean, they can't have consoles launch with a high end version of RDNA2 before PC surely, and they wouldn't bring out 2 enthusiast-grade cards within 10 months surely).

Rumours of an earlier big GPU are probably just a left over from the huge list of things AdoredTV got wrong about Navi.

Is 7nm+ ready for H1 2020?
