Phanteks changes the name of their Enthoo Luxe 2 case following complaints from TT

Apparently "Luxe 2" is too close to "Luxa 2".

Read more about Phanteks' Enthoo Luxe 2 case name change.

Umm, TT didn't put Case Labs out of business, Donald Trump's tariffs did. Plus, anyone who gets confused between Case Labs and Thermaltake doesn't deserve a nice case. That TT / Case Labs crap was WAY overblown by a bunch of idiot fanboys who saw similar grill patterns as the "be all end all". No one gets confused between STEEL and AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINUM. Just lift the bloody thing and you'll see quite the difference.

Plus, and I say this as a fan of Case Labs, their grill pattern was NOT ORIGINAL. CL started out building custom racks in server rooms, and that grill pattern was all over the place back in the day, on everything from IBM mainframes to Sun Microsystems hardware, etc. So they copied it, because it was a proven design for good airflow. That's what it made it so laughable when people started freaking about about TT "ripping off" Case Labs, due to a similar mesh pattern that wasn't even theirs to begin with. The more you know...

They said this to put blame and not face the truth. Reality is the US economy is seeing the most explosive growth in decades and virtually all markets are seeing growth with interest rates at extremely low levels. The fact that they still couldn't keep up in business just means they were already struggling on top of the fact that Trump reduced taxes for businesses by 14%.

No, they said that because Trump administration specifically put tariffs on aluminium and made the business commercially unviable.

I know what they said. And as I said in my post, it's just to point blame for a business that wasn't making money to begin with even with a booming economy and making it commercially more likely for success on top of the fact taxes were reduced significantly to the point where the tax cut literally is more than the increase in tariff on aluminum.

Funny from a company who basically copied the Caselabs designs. I was not exactly upset over it as you can't really patent a design like that and it was not like the TT quality was remotely close to that of Caselabs, but this is just dumb of TT to do.

Good on Phanteks for not wasting money on attorneys but bummer they changed the name.
