this is a good start to getting path tracing in games though I doubt it'll be anytime soon with how demanding ray tracing is at the moment

Always loved SEUS shaders though it'd been a long time since I played Minecraft, I remember them not looking that far off this 5+ years ago with all the effects they had, always been a true GPU killer in a way few games can get anywhere near, great to see that's still going with path tracing.

I have SEUS shaders on a slightly outdated version on the java version (one before the big underwater update). It looks a million times better especially with a resource pack as well. Can't imagine how taxing it'd be with a 256 texture pack too haha
