My main PC was disconnected so I decided to have a go at running DMC 5 on my Intel G3258 CPU paired with my 7950 GPU.

Ran pretty good to be fair, got the odd 2 second pause in some scenes but did pretty well.

Running it on my Ivy Bridge now as my Vega 56 arrived on the weekend .

Really good game, I've been a fan of the series for years.

/tinfoil hat.

I would avoid notifying people of the .exe available online for Denuvo free. People may flock to download it on your suggestion and download one with a nice backdoor/trojan/virus etc etc.

Tech saavy people would be fully aware but I suppose we have many purely casual gamers reading this too. I made this mistake many years ago with another steam game. Only to find it was opening my pc up to exploiting bandwidth use.

Lesson learned, but never again will I do that unless its a reputable source or from someone I know. Even if it passes anti virus checks i get paranoid now.

I have noticed similar problems when I tested the game on a dual-core quad-thread setup. Seems to slow down for short periods that appear to be when new assets are loaded in. There is a reason why a quad-core CPU is in the minimum requirements.

This game runs insanely well. Should have a full performance review ready for tomorrow.
