About time.. Consumer 3D is just a waste of time. I've never been wowed by the tech enough to warrant wanting to sit watching telly wearing special glasses.

Give me amazing 4/8K and HDR over 3D any day

In all fairness to Samsung 3dTV. I watched Avengers first movie on it, and the special effects were outstanding, just like the cinema. However over the years it seems that the 3D applied effects to movies got less and less then just fizzled out. Surprised Nvidia waited this long. No one else has kept it going.
