AMD's 1st Generation Threadripper CPUs are selling for gloriously low prices

if only asus would have increased the threadripper mainboard lineup.
the zenith (i have 2 of them) is sure nice.. but not really cost effective for the now "cheapish" 12 core threadripper.
the strix x399 is 170 euro cheaper but still around 400 euro.
and the prime x399 kind of sucks (imo) for a price of around 340 euro.
i am sure people would love to have a good ~180-220 euro mainboard for a 12 or 16 core threadripper.

i would not buy MSI for half the price. i hate their BIOS.
and beside that it´s nearly as expensive (~380 euro) as the asus strix x399 here.

I would be happy with that.. But yeah, this is why TR isn't selling well. The board prices are astronomical due that heffer socket.
