It is nice that the prices have come down so much but they still need to drop at least 75% more in price before they become a no-brainer over buying a regular large capacity spinning drive.

Yay ! finally the reliability of Samsung, (hopefully) with the full 5 yr warranty *and* at an affordable price.

These drives are advertised with a 3 yr warranty as stated in the article :/


Would be nice to get my hands on some of those for work, because some colleagues still have HDDs, but some devs here are producing 300GB or more on their system drives...

3 years is still good. Especially when EU law says it only needs to be two.
