Watch Intel's "Fall Desktop Launch Event" here

This is what 1st gen Coffee Lake should have originally been but they had to rush out those 6 cores to compete with AMD Ryzen ^_^

Soooo. that was very short and sweet, I feel like the workstation stuff was the only surprise and no indication of price or launch dates on the 9900k etc.

wtf Intel?

Also they made claims like "faster in x amount of the top games than competitors" but showed no charts or data whatsoever.

I understand marketing.. hell I work in marketing but this is just waffle with no substance!

It's a bit odd that they stated "1st mainstream 8 core 16 thread CPU" completely discounting Ryzen 1st and 2nd gen, I hope people pick up on that and call them out for it.

I believe they mean their own 1st mainstream 8/16 CPU. Since, correct me if I'm wrong, untill now, anything higher than 4 or 6 cores have been in the upper level, the more expensive enthusiast platforms, ie X99 etc.

yup this about sums it up

That first clip with "demanding game like counter strike" and the laugh scene from Spider-Man, just made the whole video for me  ... It's like Dice said above, this is so hilarious to see Intel literally ting their pants from the extremet popularity of AMD's Ryzen, that they rush out of a product and completely make fun of themselves up there. Wow, I would feel so awkward being one of them.
