AMD Ryzen 7 2800X 10-processor Cinebench Score appears

AMD could be planning to release a Ryzen 7 2800X, but it is almost certainly not an 8-core.

Read more about AMD's reported Ryzen 2800X 10-core processor.

That's pretty much dead level with my Xeon. Good move by AMD, if true. Shows they have their wits about them, unlike Intel these days.

Wouldn't it take quite significant changes to the whole architecture which cosist of up to 8c/16t modules?

Yes, which is why most of the article is dedicated to showing that this is fake. Zen CPUs are build using 4-core CCX modules, making a 10-core CPUs a silly prospect. AMD's Ryzen 7 2700X uses two CCX modules within a single CPU die.
