Intel attempts to block performance comparisons in Spectre update terms and condition

I will admit that I will never have an AMD system and I love Intel.....however this is absolutely batshiit crazy. There is absolutely NO WAY that this is going to hold up in court.

Intel is scared crapless....that's all there is to it.

I didn't really need more reasons to go with Ryzen on my next build, but more reasons always help. Makes the decision so much easier.

I would love to know your reasoning.

Would you stay Intel even when AMD are 1/2 the price of Intel with more IPC and performance?

Does this mean this new update is really going to effect performance and they don't want people knowing just how bad it will be ?

That is the only thing I can think of because doing this doesn't make sense unless you have something to hide.

Also does this mean future CPU gaming benchmarks technically aren't allowed to show Intel CPUs? Because that could be good for AMD since some people just buy whatever company has the product at the top of the bar graph, even if that specific product is outside their budget and the one that is in their budget loses to a competing product that is also within their budget.

why would anyone love a company that is anti consumer and milks him like crazy is beyond me.

don´t get me wrong i have 6 systems in my renderfarm and for over a decade they were all running on intel hardware.

but never would i have said i love intel.
i was always critical and saw the shady corporation tactics.

AMD looking better and better

Man, between Intel and Nvidia, AMD is looking better right now. Hope AMD continues to compete and make customers happy. So far, very happy with my Ryzen purchase.
