IBM Develops Fastest Optical Chipset

IBM has developed a prototype optical transceiver chipset capable of reaching speeds at least eight times faster than optical components available today.

yep, they keep developing all these awsome things

but you never actually see any of them, they are just developed, then never used, or....i aint seen a msi mainboard with one of these, or a dfi, or anyone else, they all just use ATi, Nvidia, VIA, SIS, or whatever, ....

its not on, these things, we should benefit from!
