8 real phases.


they use doublers so 2 phases are not out of phase and therfore should be count as one phase.


thought it is industy standard to lie about this.




i would be interested in this board if MSI was not known for having awfull BIOS.


so i wait what the next asus zenith will bring to the table.

I think this is one of the nicest looking boards MSI has ever put out. Really looks good. Also that VRM design, tasty. Can't wait to see Threadripper 2.

Saw that in the video when TTL showed the back of the board.
Lets wait till der8auer gets his hands on one or buildzoid from GN , should get some proper info then .....

hmm seems like the amount of components determines a phase these days not the actual electrical phase.
Its like using 2 spades to dig one hole but calling it 2 holes because it was dug by 2 spades. 2 PWM signals combined to run at the same time is still one phase MSI!
nice looking board though
