Uuuuuh, why do they wanna stick to 3rd person? Sounds to me like people are gonna get sick instantly. With the immersive audio, a 1st person perspective was the only thing I thought of...
Also, how's that gonna work? People will play it with the Oculus on, but will anyone actually turn his head around?

It's not as bad as it seems. I even tested Project cars in VR with external view. First 5-10mins gave me the WOAH Wooozy, feeling but the brain adapted.

As long as the pivot point is fixed behind her, if the immersion is as good as it should be, you will forget she stands in front of you. Your head will be spinning to listen to where the voices comes from. My only concern are the boss fights where the boss is shooting from one side of the arena to the other. That might cause some nausea as you rolled and dodge then spin 180 degrees.
