That's pretty impressive, But if Zen 2 can bring 12 cores 24 threads to the AM4 socket, Imagine what it could do for Thread Ripper, 56 core 112 thread CPU anyone ?

Surely you mean 48 cores and 96 threads? 4x12=48 after all.

Nah, it's all about 64 Cores with 128 Threads


The only thing that for my attention is that MSI have made a decent lineup for B450 and even done an ITX board as well as some mATX, about time!
Not going to lie, I do like those Tomahawks

Oh my that looks like an exiting prospect for the desktop lets just hope that software developers will develop with multi core prioritized over single core.
This will put Intel on the back foot even more with what could prove to be a huge gap.

Now if they could only do the same with the graphics processors

Yup, as soon as they shrink they get more real estate in the die to fit more goodness.

Awesome sauce tbh. Gosh, if the core speed was to reach 4.5ghz or beyond they would offer some pretty sick performance !
