I'm more excited to see what AMD are bringing out, Whoever is in charge of their GPU division needs to be slapped with a fish a good dozen times, No more experimental crap, Just raw horsepower.

I want to buy... Want something around 1080ti performance for 1080 price so I can run better run my 144hz monitor at ultra settings. And prepare myself for a 3440x1440

Vega already was raw horsepower. It was a more powerful card than the 1080 in raw terms. 12Gflops compared to 8. Problem is most things are better optimized for Nvidia architecture.
If AMD wants to stand a chance, it needs to follow the same principles as Ryzen, producing smaller dies and then releasing multi-die chips. It means near 100% yields and significantly reduced costs.
