Now that is how expensive all keyboards should be for mechanical and by that I mean at the "Uber premium" price point.

Anyway outside my rant about price I think this is a nice keyboard. I need a new keyboard but mines not dead yet so hopefully when it dies I'll be able to get this on sale

I actually like gateron reds more than cherry reds. They feel smoother...

Do people still use those keys?

Yep, me too. Especially the mute button, comes in handy.

That kinda goes against the "focus on the basics" design of the CK550.

I still haven't seen the point in those media keys.

1. Having a shortcut to spotify is great but is it so hard to click on a desk top icon?
2. Mute button to me is moot. I game with a headset, I hear a sound from elsewhere, I take off headset and pretty much game audio is not audible anymore.
3. Most speakers have a mute button anyway

Quite happy to spend on a keyboard that removes unnecessary features. Buttons I do find useful however are the windows key removal ones. Nice to alt and tab, or alt F4 out of something, but if you have macros setup ingame then its annoying if you tab as you press a macro, and accidentally switch to your browser

I do like the look of this keyboard. Almost agree that its worth its cost.

Its for next song, or repeating the previous one, Spotify auto starts but i play a lot of Guild Wars 2 and just want different music at the finger tip, ajusting the volume on the fly and all that, its super handy.

Still a good board for a great price ^^
