EVGA plans to release drivers on USBs with future motherboards

I have NEVER received a USB drive with my ASUS motherboards. And I only buy high-end.

Have you tried one of these.

Its normal with RoG boards. Think Sabertooth too.

That from Z170 and beyond? I had the Z97 Mark 1 and that came with a CD.

I won't lie, I've stopped bothing with support discs since most of the time the drivers are outdated anyway. Granted they are great for those who won't have an internet connection during setup. Plus the USB drive can double as a BIOS updater

I think its more towards Z270 and beyond. Hard to say for me since I have my Z97 board for sometime before getting the Rog Maximus extreme.

I'm more annoyed at having only 1 USB3.1 header than a CD... renders 2 of my case usb 3.0 sockets useless. £650 for a mobo and only one of these headers... noticed the same on the latest RoG boards with Z370 chips.

same quif i have 2 usb 3's on case useless, but you do have a type c header as do i on my mobo (im guessing)

so had a look about some say it works perfect, some say only one slot will work others say nada works - would you give it a try ?
