Based on rumours I'd say in the area of £1499 is highly likely.

I know I'm repeating myself over and over when these topics appear, but who is this made for? Nobody can cram framerates this high out of any hardware out there right now and it's also not futureproof as by then, these monitors will be much cheaper and most likely better in some way

Volta needs SLI or this monitor is dead in the water.

Let me guess: they'll be tiny little 27" screens too.

I recall seeing one of these screens priced as high as 1900£ in Denmark. I know it's new technology and all, but come on these prices are just far out there. And the worst part is that often they are so popular the prices never really go down much. Because why lower the price when they sell like bread?

The GTX variant of Volta coming out next will likely be SLI compatible, No reason not to be.

Honestly, if they come out anywhere between 1500 to 2000 pounds ill be happy, I saw them being sold on a hungarian website for nearly 2700 euros.

The problem with Volta is it is no more efficient than Pascal.

Even if it supports SLI most game devs won't bother.

3840 SP of Volta won't be much better than 3840 SP of Pascal.

The only thing it will mean is Pascal Titan Xp levels of performance at 1180 Volta specs.

Basically, the people who have money to burn and want a fully fledged HDR10 monitor with VRR, high refresh rate and high-resolution capabilities.

This isn't for the average consumer, this is for the Titan crowd who want to pay through the nose for the best.

Yeah, the only killer spec of the Titan V is RTX support, which isn't in any shipping game yet.

I have seen a lot of new SLI profiles in recent Nvidia drivers, which could be part of their push for these ultra high-end displays.
