Google has banned Cryptojacking extensions from Chrome

good, if miners wanna mine fair enough but swindling other to mine for them is not on
 
People are being way to PC about this, Would you rather be propagandized with ads or let someone mine on 10% of your CPU?

Marketers and big business have to much power over the every day man, this destroys that power.

The internet been doing just fine without this hijacking of cpu's and increasing our electricity bills for their own gains without permission or even being transparant about it, it isnt right and im glad Google puts a stop to it.

You are missing the point..

Of course google put a stop to it, If someone creates a youtube/google competitor based on mining revenue rather than ad revenue it will destroy them fast.

As my original post stated would you rather have a service that survives based on the will of corporate whores or would you rather give up 10% of CPU resources.
 
losing ad revenue will destroy them fast? I don't think you know much about where googles money comes from then. They make there money off data.
 
Half of the problem with this was that they didn't actually tell you they were mining. Leading many to believe their laptop/PC was broken due to poor performance.

You also need to bear in mind that many laptops and computers were not built to be loaded 24/7 and can actually die.

If they told you and explained what it was doing? fair enough.
