That, coupled with a load of crap games will probably be the end of PC gaming. I mean really, who wants to pay £40 for BOP? Is that really the best they can do?

Are they not increasing their fabrication capabilities out of fear that the increased demand will abate abruptly at some point?

I suppose I am as well, even if it was only a week or so ago.

^^ this I'm glad I bought my 1080 for £425 back in May even though some forumites made negative comments about it. But as Farage would say "who's laughing now" . I could honestly sell it for more

Memory manufacturers like Samsung have invested billions into new facilities that fabricate memory modules, but they won't become active until later this year and next year. Nvidia have no control over this. There's no point in them increasing production of Pascal GPUs if the memory supply can't keep up. Plus Nvidia likely have a new architecture available to release later this year and may not want to ramp up production for a 2 year-old architecture.
