that is pretty impressive especially considering it has integrated graphics at that price point

Really steals a lot of the thunder from Intel's Coffee Lake i3 CPUs. It will be interesting to see how well these units overclock, especially when considering it isn't Ryzen 2000 series proper (Not 12nm).

Pretty sweet. I bet that thing can easily run all of my go to games at 1080p (Borderlands, L4D 2 etc).

I'm eager to see the overclocking performance results for both! In a perfect world a oc 2400 would have the same performance as a 1400 + 1050... I know that is dreaming.... Hehe

Damn, those are some healthy clock speed bumps compared to its 1000 series counterpart.
That 2400g has even better clocks than the 1500x. This makes me excited about zen+

I reckon they won't overclock to well as I assume these chips are the same silicon as the 1st iteration but with a factory overclock applied. Even so Intel are on the ropes now

They are slightly newer chips.

That we don't know yet. I don't know if you recall the chat we had on a thread on here where I said I had spoken to an expert asking if 4ghz could possibly be artificially implemented and he said "maybe, but I suspect it was simply crap manufacturing".

IE - the first Ryzen were rushed out of the door and AMD have been refining ever since. Whilst still a bit boring the last iteration of Bulldozer clocked 1ghz faster than the first tbh. Massive improvements, even though they still didn't make it a great CPU.

By the end they were making 5ghz retail chips.
