AMD hit with class action lawsuit over Spectre vulnerability

AMD has allegedly made false/misleading statements.

Love how AMD is getting this type of stuff filed against them but Intel remains....fine? Well as fine as fine can be for Intel at the moment that is.

Just funny how they want to blame AMD... silly people lol.

This is a weak case I doubt it'll uphold in court. They didn't make any false statements. Unless they can be shown to be vulnerable to Meltdown this case has very little to go off of

I never understood this whole sue everything system and mentality to be honest. I am glad we don't have that here

They will be fine. Big firms like those invest more in lawyers than in R&D, and marketing together. That is why they are on top.

It's the American way.

1. Get very angry, disproportionately so at the merest hint of aggression. As soon as reply is received go nuclear, swearing and saying nasty things about mothers etc.

2. Sue everything and every one.
