The m3's are way better than the Atom's they used previously but these devices make so much more sense with a Ryzen+Vega APU. Stick one of those in and you've got some new games playable.

The only problem is that AMD doesn't make an APU with a low enough TDP. Raven Ridge is for laptops, not 4.5-7W systems.

I do agree though that the device could be a lot better if they could fit an AMD APU in there. Raven Ridge would be epic on a small 720p screen like this.

TBH looking at this my thoughts are, buy a cheap laptop and a Nintendo Switch.

The compute stick with that CPU is like $400, sounds quite reasonable actually.
