I hope this will enable all the features they announced to get Vega at more adequate performance levels

Joker Productiions saw a large (but not large enough to beat the 1080) performance increase going from 17.10.1 to the beta driver 17.11.4 with his Powercolor Vega 64 review sample.

Though he did use Radeon Software 17.10.1 the first time, which I think is the same driver Jayz2Cents used and got odd results with his early RX Vega 64 Strix.

Looking at our results and Joker old ones there was a clear gap, his were way lower despite the fact that he claimed to have overclocked his GPU.

He does come up with the excuse that it was because of the PowerColor review guide that he did not use newer drivers, but any reviewer worth his salt would have checked both himself to see if everything was alright.

Gotta commend Radeon's marketing department, they've dressed shipping unfinished drivers as FineWine™ Technology.

Well at least it's getting better. The older days when we got 3 updates a year are still fresh in memory

True, Would be nice if Nvidia moved away from their Windows 95 theme they've had for years with the Nvidia control panel.
